One of the worst things to come out of the European Union is the Cookie Consent law. You see those annoying pop-up confirmation boxes everywhere. I even have one on this website. I hate them, and I expect you do too.
Since 2011, all websites in the European Union have been required by law to get permission from visitors when using cookies. The aim was to protect consumers, but millions of clicks later, cookie notices have become a real hindrance.
